The answer is NO. In the year 2005 a controversy about Oprah's well-known AlkaTone Review Magazine known as ?O? began when an article about diet pills was published. It was entitled Diet Pills, The Next Generation. It discussed about a certain herb named ?Hoodia Gordonii?.

Ever since the article was published, people were inclined to believing that there are diet pills named ?Hoodia Gordonii? or ?Hoodia Oprah?. Since Oprah was believed to have endorsed these products, they became very popular when in fact, no such brands exist and Oprah never endorsed supplements or diet pills.

This article will be a short discussion about the relationship between Hoodia and Oprah. To be very exact, Oprah's magazine only wanted to inform their readers of how useful Hoodia Gordonii can be.
